Leh Ladakh and Pangong Lake Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by one of our representatives and will set off to hotel in the heart of the Leh Town , where you will check in with a traditional welcome. Days rest advised to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh.
In the evening you will take a walk to Leh Market to explore the city: The capital of Ladakh, at one time was a major stop on the Asian "Silk Route". A stroll along the main bazar, observing the varied crowd and peering into the curio shops, is an entrancing experience. Chang Gali, behind the main bazar is less bustling but has intriguing little shops selling curios and jewelry like pearls, turquoise, coral, malachite, lapis and many other kinds of semi-precious stones, as well as curiously carved Yak- horn boxes, quaint brass locks, china or metal bowls etc.Shanti Stupaon the hill top where you can see a spectacular view of Leh town . Day 2
After breakfast you will set off for Sangam, en route visit Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill Point (where the cars defy gravity), enjoy the view of Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers) After visits the above places we drive back to Leh. Hall of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army). Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Day 3
After breakfast you will set off for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-La (The Highest Motor able road in the World alt: 5602Mts/18390Ft). It is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. After descending from the pass, Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. visits to Diskit Monastery and has wonderful view of Nubra valley. Later drive back to Leh by same route. Arrive at Hunder by afternoon. After being settled in Hotel/Camps. Options are hiking, flower watching or just relax and enjoy the nature and the 2 humped “Bactrian” camels. Riding are available at the base of additional payment. Day 4
One of the moist fascinating journeys in Ladakh this is a less popular destination recently opened for tourist, if you have a thirst for a beautiful location this is the place. En route spectacular mountain ranges and Villages like. This region is controlled mainly by the Ladakh Scouts a rear department of the India Army. A border village that was recaptured by the Indian Army in 1971. Locals have relatives across the border (Line of Control) and depend mainly on farming of vegetables, apricot besides providing mules and porters. Day 5
After breakfast visits to Diskit Monastery and has wonderful view of Nubra valley. Later drive to Pangong Lake via Shayok River and Tangtse. After Arrive Pangong Lake. It is situated at alt: 14,000 ft. Pangong is 5-6Kms wide and over 135 Kms long, Lake which is the highest salt water Lake in Asia, while on third part of the lake falls in India; the remaining is in Tibet (China). Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and the sun set on the banks of lake with magnificent mountains. Stay overnight in Pangong.Evening at leisure and overnight stay at the camp near lake.
Day 6
Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on the lake. After Breakfast drive back to Leh via Changala Pass- world’s 3rd highest motor able road) 17,350ft/5486 Mtrs. En route visit Hemis Monastery is one of the largest and the wealthiest Buddhist monasteries in this region, The monastery was founded in 1630 by the first incarnation of Stagsang Raspa Nawang Gyatso when he was invited by the then King of Ladakh, Singey Namgail and offered a religious estate. Beautiful statues and mural paintings adorn the monastery halls. The monastery also has a museum within its premises, the museum that exhibits a large collection of Buddhist relics. Where several ancient religious and historical paintings (Thangkas), weapons are displayed in the museum. However, the photography is prohibited inside the museum. After that continue drive to Leh. Enroute Thiksay monastery. Its looks like Potala palace of Tibet Overnight at hotel in LehAfter that continue drive to Leh. City.Check in at Hotel upon arrival. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:-
  • CANCELLATION CHARGES
  • Non Refundable Booking Amount: Rs.1000/- or 5% of Tour Cost / Service Cost
  • Any time after booking but before 60 days of departure date: 5% of total tour / service cost .
  • Between 60 days to 45 days prior to departure date: 25 % of the total Tour / service cost.
  • Between 44 days & 22 prior to departure date: 40 % of the total Tour / service cost.
  • Between 21 days to date of departure: 100 % of the total Tour / service cost.
  • Flight cancellation charges shall be charged at actual in addition to the cancellation charges mentioned herein above.
  • In case of 100 % cancellation charges it is deemed to mean and include all the charges paid including the air ticket cost and no refund will be paid in case of 100% cancellation charges.
